Brick trailer
I had never heard of this film before just a few minutes ago. But I just watched this trailer and I am fucking blown away. A Film Noir of what looks to be astounding originality.
Ebert loves it, Harry Knowles loves it, and more importantly (because I respect his opinion more than any other film critic) Peter Travers of Rolling Stone called it his favorite film from Sundance this year.
Just seriously. Take a look at it, it looks incredible.

Just a nitpick - It's his favorite film from Sundance last year (2005), not this year (2006).

I blogged about this on my blog last year too after reading what Harry had to say about the movie. Looks like a great flick, totally different than what I expected after reading the review last year. I'm suprised by how straight they're playing the flick

whoops, last year. I made the mistake cause I read it was at sundance right now, and wide release was march but they must've got their facts wrong too.
But yeah, wicked subtle sense of humour happening, yet it looks completely engrossing, and with the oddities and mystery for some reason it makes me think of Twin Peaks. Anyway, if you guys know anything about it, no spoilers. I gotsta go in knowing only what I know from the trailer.
